Manchesster: Roberto Mancini has confirmed that Manchester City have come to an agreement with Corinthians over the sale of Carlos Tevez.

The Argentina international had expressed a desire to make a move away from Eastlands, insisting that he would like to be closer to his family in South America.
City were believed to have been holding out for £ 50 million for the former Manchester United man, who was the joint top scorer in the Premier League last season with 20 goals in 28 appearances, and turned down an initial offer from the Brazilian club last week.
The Argentina international had expressed a desire to make a move away from Eastlands.

Mancini said at a press conference: "We have an agreement with Corinthians but Carlos now is still a City player."
With the two clubs having reached an agreement over a deal for the striker, Mancini says he is unsure if the player has discussed personal terms with Corinthians.
He said: "I don't know this. I repeat, at the moment, Carlos is still a City player."
The City boss added: "I want to wait. At the moment we are here [on a pre-season tour of North America], we are working with the other guys. We should think about this."
The 27-year-old forward's team-mate Joleon Lescott maintained that the team would be disappointed if their captain leaves after having helped them break a trophy drought that lasted over three decades, whilst having also helped them achieve Champions League football.
However, the former Everton defender insisted that despite the disappointment, nobody would harbour any ill feeling towards the Argentine.
Lescott said: "We'll be disappointed if Carlos leaves but it was down to the club and Carlos what was best for each other and they have come to an agreement so I wish both parties all the best.
"Carlos is his own man. Last season he played to 110 per cent every game so none of us will be holding any grudges towards him and we'll wish him all the best if he does leave."

Mancini confirmed last week that Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero - who is also Tevez's international team-mate - could be a possible replacement for the striker.

However, the 23-year-old, who has spent the last five years with the La Liga side, had earlier maintained that he would make no decision on his future until the Copa America campaign was over.
Now that Argentina have been knocked out on penalties by Uruguay, the former Independiente man is expected to make a decision on his next club.
"He wanted the Copa America to end to sit down and talk. During this week everything will be settled," Aguero's agent, Hernan Reguera, told Ole.
