Late Michael Jackson has topped a Disney Channel survey of the greatest dance moments ever to be captured on film.

MJ's creepy routine in the horror-themed promo for his 1984 track `Thriller' took the top spot from the cast of `High School Musical' and their performance of `We're All In This Together', which came second.

The third place went to dancer Tobias Mead's jaw-dropping audition for Britain's Got Talent in 2010, and Jackson's iconic `Smooth Criminal' routine came fourth, the Daily Star reported.

Hannah Montana's Hoedown Throwdown and Beyonce's Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) promo both came fifth in the poll.

Jackson was also named the King of Dance, ahead of boy band JLS, High School Musical star Zac Efron, and singer-turned-actor Justin Timberlake.
