Dr. Hicks, at the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition in London, presented his invention- world's first pair of bionic glasses.
The invention took six years of his life as he conducted several trials of the samples on the 60 blind people.
These magical glasses would help thousands of blind people see the beautiful world as they are made of tiny cameras and software expertise from the video games.
Small flashing lights are inserted in them, which would allow the wearer to become aware about his surrounded objects.
These glasses would make the elderly people, who are suffering from the age-related muscular problems, to clearly see all the colors and objects around them.
Eventually, the glasses would also allow the blind people to read bus numbers and signs, which can be synthesized into a voice and played into the wearer's ear.
Anyone can afford these bionic glasses because they are low-priced and they also have a benefit over the bionic eye or retinal implants.
He further added, ''A couple of years ago we would have had a laptop in a backpack, therefore these glasses, essentially are just like an iPhone and soon they would be adopting many advanced software’s that could do face recognition and tracking” .
